Nook Fantastic Classics

The Old Bridge Public Library is happy to introduce a new program to provide some beloved classic books a new look and feel.

Over one hundred classic books have been uploaded to Nook ereaders and are now available for check out, just like their hardcover predecessors. Nooks have an easy to read screen that looks just like a page of a book and weigh only 7.5 ounces- less then most paperbacks! The texts size can be changed so every book could be read as "large print book."   Nooks can be checked out for 21 days and are renewable.  Any Old Bridge Library patron in good standing, 17 years or older can check out a nook after they sign the borrowing agreement.

The Information Desk has a Nook that you can play with and see all the books we uploaded. If you still have questions about how to use our Nook, or your own ereader, Tech Buddies can help you. Tech Buddies meets Saturdays 11am to 1pm and Mondays 6-8pm to answer all your technology questions!

For more information about Nooks or Tech Buddies call the library at 732.721.5600 ext 5033.
