Upcoming Library Programs: March 2004

The Old Bridge Public Library will present a program by Sarah Touborg, co-author of Not Your Mother’s Divorce, a practical guide for young women about surviving the stress of a divorce. She will discuss her research and findings as well as the process of having the book published. “We were the first generation to have such wide-spread divorce among our parents,” says Touborg, “it made us more determined to make our own marriages work, and that much more disappointed when they didn’t.” There is no need to register for this free event.
Odessa Klezmer Band, Saturday, March 20 at 1:00 p.m.
Klezmer is a form of instrumental folk music developed in the Eastern European Jewish community. The Odessa Klezmer band is a popular local ensemble that has performed in Gracie Mansion among other locations. This concert is free and open to the public.
