The Old Bridge Public Library’s free First Friday Performance series continues on April 1st, 2011 at 6:30pm with Caryn Lin, electric violinist.
'An electric violinist for the space age,' Caryn Lin plays her five string electric violin and uses sound effects and looping to create short on the spot recordings of her violin, voice, percussion instruments and other sounds. Layers of sound over deceptively simple melodies result in music that is both otherworldly and totally catchy, mesmerizing and completely unique! It is eclectic, seamlessly combining New Age, world, classical and rock.
This Friends of the Library sponsored performance is free and open to the public.
