Old Bridge Library - Friends of the Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Old Bridge Library would like to announce the dates for the 2013 annual book sale. The sale will be held in the Central Library May 31-June 6 during the following hours:

• Friday 5/31: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Saturday 6/1: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Sunday 6/2: 1:00 – 4:30 p.m.
• Monday 6/3 – Thursday 6/6: 10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

The Friends will have books, magazines, CDs, books on tape, DVDs and more. All sales are final. See you there!

Old Bridge Library - Free Movie Friday: Argo

On Friday, March 1, the Library will be presenting a free showing of the Academy Award winning movie Argo at 1:30 p.m. A dramatization of the 1980 joint CIA-Canadian secret operation to extract six fugitive American diplomatic personnel out of revolutionary Iran. Old Bridge Library - Chinese New Year and Tea Workshop

• On Sunday, Feb. 17 at 1:30 p.m., The Old Bridge Public Library will celebrate the Chinese New Year with three members of the Chinese Cultural Society and Shen Yun Promotions.
• On Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7:00 p.m. Virginia Ahearn, a practitioner and teacher of herbal medicine, will speak at the Library to demonstrate how various types of herbal teas can be used to alleviate particular ailments. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample some of these teas.

No registration is required for either program both of which are free and open to the public.
