Don't miss this month's First Friday program with Virago Music, this Friday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m. Virago plays rock music with elements of blues and samba. Their music is as an edgy rock sound with elements of blues and samba. Learn to speak better English in a small conversation group! Starting Tuesday October 7th 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Old Bridge Residents ONLY. Pre registration Required Applications available at the Adult & Information Services Desk.

"Participants can expect to practice their English conversation skills in a group setting with trained volunteers," remarked Allan M. Kleiman, Assistant Library Director. "The focus of these conversations is on everyday topics, such as finding the right job, local news, and other aspects of community life," he concluded.

The ESL Conversation Group program is free and is intended for adults over the age of 18. Unfortunately, due to limited space, only Old Bridge residents or library cardholders are eligible to attend this class.

Pre-registration is required prior to the first session.

ESL Conversation Group programs are presented in partnership with the Literacy Volunteers of Middlesex County (see below).

All of the ESL conversation groups will be held at the Library's Central Branch.
