On December 15, as part of the Senior Fridays celebration, Fred Miller told the fascinating story of Cole Porter, the Indiana farm boy turned international sophisticate who chronicled the foibles and fancies of the cafe society in which he himself moved. Porter has, with time, emerged as one of the great song craftsmen of his era, with a full roster of songs created for film and theatre classics.
