"Participants can expect to practice their English conversation skills in a group setting with trained volunteers," remarked Allan M. Kleiman, Assistant Library Director. "The focus of these conversations is on everyday topics, such as finding the right job, local news, and other aspects of community life," he concluded.
The ESL Conversation Group program is free and is intended for adults over the age of 18. Unfortunately, due to limited space, only Old Bridge residents or library cardholders are eligible to attend this class.
Pre-registration is required prior to the first session.
ESL Conversation Group programs are presented in partnership with the Literacy Volunteers of Middlesex County (see below).
All of the ESL conversation groups will be held at the Library's Central Branch.
For further information and to register, please call the Library at: 732-721-5600, ext. 5033 or stop by and chat with a librarian at the Adult & Information Services Desk.
