On January 11 at 1:30 p.m. there will be a Senior Friday Talk and Discussion entitled Explore Natural New Jersey. Jim Peck, head of Outreach and Education for the American Littoral Society's Mid-Atlantic Chapter, will give a virtual tour of New Jersey natural places that are easily accessible for anyone. He will suggest sight-seeing adventures for eveyone from finding orchids at the Webb's Mill Bog to picking up Cape May diamonds at Sunset Beach. Stop by the first meeting of our new Afternoon Book Discussion Group, at the Central Branch on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 1:30 p.m. They will be discussing Haunted Ground by Erin Hart. A decapitated head found in a peat bog on an Irish farm may be linked to the recent disappearance of a woman and her child.
