January Book Discussions
On Monday evening, January 10 at 7:00 p.m., The Ladies Night Out Book Discussion Group will meet to discuss The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Limited by racial divides in 1962 Jackson, Mississippi, three women, including an African-American maid, her sassy and unemployed friend, and a recently graduated white woman, team up for a clandestine project. On Thursday evening, January 20 at 7:00 p.m., The Science Fiction Book Discussion Group will be discussing The Philip K. Dick Reader. This anthology gathers twenty four classic science fiction stories, including "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale," "Second Variety," "The Golden Man," and "The Last of the Masters." (Novelist)
