Summer Reading Kickoff!

On Saturday, June 21st, the Library will begin its most ambitious summer reading program ever: at 11:00 a.m. there will be a Mad Science show with a Van Der Graff Generator, dry ice and slime... and ice cream! At 2:00 p.m. we will have live music from Middletown based pop band The Wag along with a costume party and an Albert Einstein look-alike contest. Old Bridge Library - The Palace of Versailles and Its Music

On Sunday, October 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the Old Bridge Public Library, Music historian Catherine Sprague will present a program that covers the history of The Palace of Versailles and the music that was composed and performed there for over 150 years. The presentation will feature clips from a documentary about Louis XIV, samples of music used during his reign, historical musical instruments of the period, and a virtual tour of the Royal Chapel of Versailles. Old Bridge Library Presents Free Concert

The Old Bridge Public Library, Route 516 and Cottrell Road, will present guitarist Anton DelForno in concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 7. DelForno will perform a mix of original compositions and classical favorites, and will speak about his life long passion for the guitar. Admission to the concert is free of charge.
