Science Fiction Book Discussion Group - Lift off for unknown worlds with the Science Fiction Book Discussion Group at the Old Bridge Public Library. On September 23 at 7:00 p.m. the group will be reading Time Patrol by Poul Anderson. In a fictive universe imagined in eight stories and one novel, time is mutable, and once time travel is discovered, humanity's remote descendants, the Danellians, set up the Time Patrol to ensure that no changes to the past will wipe out their own present. The writing is excellent, distinguished by Hugo and Nebula winner Anderson's skill at weaving a background of sights and sounds to make the stage, and thus the actors, more real. Please note that this group will be meeting at the Staff Table, ask at the Circulation Desk for directions. For more information, please call the Reference Desk, (732) 721-5600 ext. 5033.

Upstage Magazine’s Jerry Pashin says, “Her lyrics are descriptive and personal. Her delicate style captures the attention of the listeners”. While Patti can be found performing regularly at local establishments, she continues to find great enjoyment sharing music with others through local guitar circles and jam sessions.
