Saturday, November 6th at 1:30 p.m. Swing Concert with the Norm Paley Quartet. Clarinetist Paley is a longtime veteran of the music scene, performing and teaching the music of Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and others.

Saturday, October 23 at 1:30 p.m. Dan Faulk Jazz Trio. Dan Faulk is a prolific composer having penned over 100 compositions to date, 24 of which have been recorded on 7 different CD's. Located in the metropolitan New York city area, Dan works as a freelance performer, recording artist, composer/arranger, and a collegiate and private instructor.

Crafting Club - The Old Bridge Public Library Crafting Club meets weekly at the Main Library on Thursday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. All crafters of any experience or type of craft are welcome to attend.

Garden Club - Join us for the next meeting of the Old Bridge Public Library’s Gardening Club! Trade secrets and tips, plan trips to gardening centers and more. Bring your green thumb and ideas for fun and interesting activities and join us! We will be discussing how to remake the Library’s garden and trading plants! The Garden Club will meet on October 20 at 7:00 p.m.

Mystery Book Discussion Group - The Mystery Book Discussion Group meets once per month to discuss the latest and greatest in Mystery Literature. Original Book Discussion Group - Do you want to read interesting books and share your thoughts with others? The Book Discussion Group will be reviewing Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist on October 21 in the Central library at 7:00 p.m. Brazilian storyteller Paulo Coehlo introduces Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who one night dreams of a distant treasure in the Egyptian pyramids. And so he's off: leaving Spain to literally follow his dream.

Free Blues Concert

Saturday, October 9 at 1:30 p.m. The Christopher Dean Blues Band The Christopher Dean Band is a regional blues/soul band based out of the Central New Jersey area, working up and down the east coast year round. Christopher Dean fronts the group playing guitar and singing. After graduating high school in 1992, Christopher studied various styles of blues guitar ranging from Delta, Chicago, to Texas as well as jazz, folk, country, and pop. Dean has recorded two albums with Big Jack Johnson including "All The Way Back" in 1997, and "Roots Stew" in 2000. He recorded his first solo release in 2000, "Dogged n' Driven" and started touring east coast which has continued for the last four years. The band released a brand new CD in 2003, "Three Times A Fool". It has been received well by blues programs and blues societies on the east coast.
