Turning the Tides for Children and Families
Tue, June 24, 12pm – 1pm Presented by Rutgers University Behavioral Healthcare Services, Turning the Tides is a program targeting youth in grades K-12. It promotes healing and increases resiliency among youth and families. It will equip children with the skills and knowledge necessary to recover from the effect of Super Storm Sandy. Music, movement, storytelling and other techniques are used to increase a sense of safety, self-esteem and hope. This program meets on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12pm and runs from Tuesday June 24 through Tuesday August 5. You must be able to attend all sessions to participate. Registration begins June 1.
